The aims of the association are:

1. The continuous improvement of the Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle of Cyprus
2. The promotion and conservation of the interests of the member-breeders of the Association
3. The maintenance and update of the Holstein-Friesian Herd Book of Cyprus
4. The genetic improvement of type and production traits of the breed through a sound recording scheme, compatible with the practices and directives of the international organizations such as the WHFF and ICAR
5. The collection, processing, evaluation and utilization of the information collected on type and production traits of the Holstein-Friesian dairy cattle of Cyprus
